In view of the many different sub categories of craft together with such factors as age of vessel, the rating and underwriting structure is, of necessity, quite complex.

Alan began his career in the UK, underwriting yacht policies and adjusting yacht claims and since then, has generated extensive experience from the Canadian and American markets. Over the last 11 years in particular, he has handled high value and complex hull and P and I (third party) claims.

Alan has been retained as an expert witness to offer opinions on coverage and bad faith in connection with yacht and pleasure craft underwriting and claims practices.
